POSITION PURPOSE
The Sr. Analyst, Online Search delivers deep analysis and understanding for the internal search domain to assist customers within product discovery on HomeDepot.com. The senior analyst will look at customer trends, as well as performance within internal search and capitalize by building models to enhance the search experience. Collaborates with various departments including Search Product managers, Search Engineering, and other business teams to execute tools, reporting, and dashboards using online and offline data (customer feedback). Works with the Search Optimization Manager to research and analyze internal search trends and customer behavior data to identify opportunities for internal search enhancements and build new functionalities for internal search. Analyzes and understands the key drivers of search performance related to the search product roadmap. Works with the Search Optimization Manager and PRO team to provide weekly reporting and tools to Management and the supporting teams.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES30% Responsible for analysis to support and strategic decision making involving internal search PRO customer behavior to view trends, provide insights, and identify areas to improve the customer experience within search
30% Support and partner with the Internal Search Product Managers & engineering team, Data Science to provide deep analysis on all current and future Road Map activities
20% Manage and automate all internal search operations reporting & data mining processes for management and cross-functional teams
10% Works with the Web analyst to provide weekly Web Analytic dashboards
10% Create and maintain optimization rules within internal search tooling, followed up by pre-post analytical & data models for PRO website
