We are looking for a talented individual to join our Digital Marketing Center of Excellence to support our Paid Social and Media programs for Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.

The ideal candidate is skilled in developing brand-right channel marketing strategies that drive efficiency, incrementality, and profitable long-term outcomes.  Responsible for a significant multimillion-dollar budget, the individual in this role has a chance to shape the digital future of the JWN brand.  We are looking for a collaborative thought leader, who thrives on identifying growth opportunities for both the business and their own team members.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Paid Social and Media teams across Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, balancing traffic, sales, customer, and engagement goals
  • Develop an innovative, strategic vision for our platform, publisher, and programmatic partners that raises the bar for performance while elevating Nordstrom’s brand presence
  • Support the creation of audience-first campaign strategies with a focus on opportunities that enable us to orchestrate our campaigns across the entire customer journey
  • Own the holistic view of paid social and media data and analytics, defining clear KPIs across the marketing funnel that enable the team to clearly gauge investment effectiveness
  • Develop testing agenda and campaign measurement strategies in partnership with Analytics
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and adoption of new partnerships and technologies
  • Provide digital thought leadership on privacy, channel, tech, competition, and customer trends
  • Partner with Integrated Media Strategy and Finance teams on budget and forecasting decisions
  • Manage key agency, platform, and media partnerships (e.g. Google, Facebook, Verizon) and deepen the team’s partnerships with internal Analytics, Brand, Tech, Product, and CRM teams
  • Develop, attract, hire, and support a high-performing team of digital marketers
  • View the success and development of your team as a critical indicator of your own success

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years digital marketing experience; retail background a plus
  • Intrapreneur at heart; interested in white space and finding opportunity in ambiguity
  • Demonstrated success scaling innovative programs in fast-paced, dynamic organizations
  • Experience managing a multimillion-dollar budget and forecasting performance trends
  • Deep knowledge of key measurement tools (MTA, MMM) and hands-on experience in key digital platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, SA360, Liveramp)
  • Record of orchestrating broad media strategies which include digital audio, podcasts, OOH, and direct publisher partnerships, as well as traditional programmatic display
  • Experience evaluating/onboarding martech solutions and platforms (e.g. DSPs, MMPs)
  • Demonstrated experience in training teams on new platforms, technologies, and best practices
  • A highly analytical nature and the ability to quantify expected impact of investment decisions
  • Proven ability to successfully manage internal and external partner relationships
  • Positive and productive interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Passion for serving our customers
